So we got there and they had to get an EKG to see how Abigail's heart rhythm was and Abigail was just looking at the nurse and just smiling and trying to grab the lines hooked to her and play with them. She barely cried when the nurse had to take those off because the nurse had to tug on her skin a little bit.
After that we had to wait for awhile to see the actual doctor. She was very informative when she came in and asked what we knew about murmurs. Eric and I both thought it was a tiny holy in the heart and she politely told us we were both wrong. She did say that an abnormal murmur could have a hole, but that a murmur itself was not one. She listened to Abigail and decided to have an ultrasound done of her chest because it wasn't clear enough for her to tell if it was normal or not. Before she left the room she noted that Abigail was a very happy and healthy baby and said she is a bit of a wiggle worm. She also let us know that during the ultrasound we would have to try and keep Abigail still as well as quiet.
Eric and I weren't worried about her being loud or crying-she hardly ever does that, what we were worried about was being able to keep her still. She is at that age now where all she wants to do is explore the things around her and it definitely shows (before we went back to have the ultrasound done, Abigail had torn off all the paper lining on the bed and was playing with it)!
So we went to the room where the ultrasound was going to take place and we laid Abigail down and gave her a pacifier to occupy her. I held down her little arms and let her hold onto my fingers and Eric gave her a baby leg massage so she wouldn't kick around. There were two technicians in the room and one of them said they had never had a baby this little who didn't cry and it was her job to distract them and keep them from crying. About 2 minutes later she said she was not used to a baby who didn't cry and that we must be good parents, That made my day knowing my little baby girl was just being so calm and cute looking around. She did get a little fussy when they got around her neckline to take pictures but it lasted all of 10 seconds.
Afterwards the doctor came back in to look at the pictures and said she looked fine and she has what is called an innocent murmur. It means nothing and more than 50% of children have them. Eric and I were relieved even though I wasn't worried in the first place.

On another note: Eric just started getting sick. :( his throat started hurting really bad and he is congested a little too. I hope neither myself nor Abigail gets sick.
Also we have these flowers right outside our doors and I referred to them as baby flowers because they were so small. Eric thought they might be tulips but I have no idea what it is. We stuck it behind Abigail's ear and it looked so cute!
